Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who loves solving hard problems and turning complexity into clarity.
You’ll design intuitive, elegant digital experiences that tackle real healthcare challenges — improving how millions of Australians access care. Working across multiple live products, you’ll shape end-to-end user journeys, from early discovery through to polished delivery.

As a senior member of our Product team, you’ll bring together craft, curiosity, and strategy: leading research, setting design direction, strengthening our design systems, and raising the bar for design quality across the organisation.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You’ll influence product vision, mentor others, collaborate closely with product and engineering, and explore what’s possible with AI-assisted design and modern product thinking.

What You’ll Do
Lead discovery and research — run interviews, usability testing, and competitor reviews, with direct access to doctors and patients
Design with purpose — create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and refined UI that simplify complex healthcare problems
Collaborate and influence — work closely with the CEO, co-founders, execs, customers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Analysts
Champion the design system — set a long-term, scalable design vision across products
Measure and iterate — use analytics, A/B testing, and qualitative insights to continuously improve outcomes
Design for inclusivity — ensure accessibility and usability for diverse user groups
Embrace AI and innovation — leverage AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, and prototyping
Lead by example — bring empathy, curiosity, and high design craft to everything you do
What You’ll Bring
You’re a confident, hands-on designer with a mix of creativity, strategy, and technical know-how.
5+ years’ experience designing for web and mobile in agile product environments
Proven ability to own end-to-end design across multiple products
Deep understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and design systems
You’re comfortable navigating complexity and enjoy working in a flexible, flat team structure.
Strong research and analytical mindset — comfortable using insights and data to guide design decisions
Excellent storytelling and collaboration skills; you communicate clearly with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders
Confident using AI-assisted tools to ideate, prototype, and streamline workflows
Highly organised, self-driven, and passionate about creating human-centred, impactful experiences
