About HealthShare

At HealthShare, we’re all about making a real difference in the health-tech space. Our mission is simple: improve the lives of Australians by connecting them with better access to healthcare providers and information. For over a decade, we’ve been at the forefront of digital health with 10+ million Australians and 24,000 doctors using our platform each year.

Our MyHealth1st platform supports patients to find and book healthcare appointments online, while helping healthcare practices improve access and engagement.

As we continue to evolve our products and broader healthcare marketplace, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager to help shape, deliver and continuously improve our bookings platform. This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of a key digital product and see the direct impact of your work on patients, healthcare providers and the business.

Job Description

As Product Manager, you will work closely with our Product Director, Engineering, Design and Commercial teams to improve the MyHealth1st booking experience and deliver measurable product outcomes.

You will own the bookings product backlog and lead a cross functional squad through discovery, prioritisation and delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and maintaining the MyHealth1st bookings product backlog, ensuring work is clearly prioritised, refined and ready for development
  • Translating product strategy, user flows and practice scheduling needs into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira
  • Leading product discovery activities, including customer interviews, funnel analysis and internal discovery sessions
  • Using booking, checkout and conversion data to identify opportunities and prioritise product improvements
  • Working closely with Engineering and Design throughout the delivery process to remove blockers and support high quality outcomes
  • Participating actively in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand ups, reviews and retrospectives
  • Defining success measures and tracking product performance against agreed outcomes
  • Communicating product priorities, progress, trade offs and risks clearly across the business
  • Balancing shorter term conversion improvements with the longer term scalability of the platform
  • Acting as the key product voice for the bookings platform across the organisation

Desired Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • At least three years’ experience as a Product Manager in an Agile product environment
  • Direct experience working with transactional digital products such as ecommerce, online checkout, appointment booking or marketplace platforms
  • Demonstrated experience owning a product backlog and developing clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • A data informed approach, with experience using customer insights, behavioural data and conversion metrics to guide decisions
  • A proven ability to take ownership and deliver product initiatives from discovery through to release
  • The ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear priorities and practical execution plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas, trade offs and risks clearly to a range of stakeholders
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing and Operations
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgement and attention to detail
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and comfort working in a fast moving environment

Experience in health technology, appointment scheduling, marketplace products or conversion optimisation would be highly regarded.
